Our Panthers are innovative! A group of PHHS students are in the planning stages of creating a student resource website that will help high schoolers navigate and plan their future. They presented their ideas and plan to the Paradise Schools board this week.
In it's beginning stages, this website will have the following features - scholarship search, apprenticeship search, internship search, workshops, submission tracking, Save For Later, scholarship tip line, and Paradise Only. In the future, the creators of the website would like to expand the site's resources to include college and career workshops, summer program search, local career opportunities, and committee recruitment.
What are the benefits of this project? This student resource website will streamline college and career exploration for students, support counselor initiatives, foster post secondary opportunities, and connect student with scholarships to make college more affordable.
