Today, the junior class is participating in the Safety Town Assembly provided by Banner Health and the Surprise Police Department. Students listened to a presentation about safe driving then wore googles that impaired their vision to participate in mock texting and driving, walking while impaired, and putting together a puzzle to show the effects of impairment on cognitive functions.
