Curriculum Night - August 17th 2022

Dear Paradise families,

I hope the first two weeks of the year have gone smoothly. Over the last two days, Mrs. O’Brien and I met with all students to share important information and answer questions.

I joined Paradise Honors High School last  year from Valley Vista High School where I was an Assistant Principal for two years. Prior to that, I taught English in grades 8-11 for ten years. I received my Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University, Masters in Teaching from George Fox University, and Bachelors in English Literature from Seattle Pacific University. Everything I do is built on working with teachers and teams to impact student achievement through authentic instruction and connections to the real world. What excites me the most about joining Paradise are the high expectations for instruction and engagement.

We are excited to welcome students and their families to Curriculum Night on Wednesday, August 17th from 6-7:30pm. During this time, families travel through the student’s schedules with ten-minute stops to learn about each class. This includes a curriculum overview and course expectations. Families who wish to discuss the course with the teacher are encouraged to set an appointment outside of this evening.
