Dear Paradise Families,
Paradise Schools is committed to the safety and education of all our students. This letter is to inform you of an incident that occurred on Thursday, February 24, 2022. It was reported that students and staff heard a loud noise while in the courtyard, during lunch, at PHHS.
As a result, Paradise Leadership implemented a lockdown on both our high school and middle school campuses. The origin of the sound is currently unknown. We have been informed by Surprise PD that officers have searched all surrounding areas for any possible source. Surprise PD believes that the sound may have come from a construction site.
Paradise Schools holds student and staff safety as our number one priority, and all of our staff handles every potential threat as serious. We are very proud of how our students and staff responded to this incident. In addition, we would like to provide praise to our high school students for doing the right thing and reporting this concern to PHHS leadership.
