In Digital Photography students will study the art of photography through the following topics: technical camera operation, composition, design, lighting, photo criticism, visual culture, workflow, photo management, image editing, and history of photography. 

Students can...

• Gain skills and experience developing a professional image and using photo editing tools.
• Participate in skill competitions and art shows where they can display their work.
• Earn Adobe Certifications.
• Meet Art credit requirements.
• Apply for a Fine Arts Seal

This pathway is great for students who... 

• Consider themselves artistic, imaginative and innovative.
• Enjoy working with people.
• Enjoy projects that allow for personal creativity and self-expression.
• Are patient, flexible, and have an eye for detail.
• Are interested in careers where various media is used to communicate information and ideas.

Graphic Design is an excellent program for students interested in creating and producing media using various apps in the Adobe Cloud Suite (such as, but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).

Students can...

• Gain skills and experience in developing a professional image and using professional editing and graphics tools
• Participate in skill competitions and art shows where they can display their work.
• Earn college credits which can be applied directly into partner college programs.
• Earn Adobe Certifications after the 2-year class requirement.
• Meet CTE credit requirements.

The Law and Public Safety program is a comprehensive educational initiative preparing students for careers in law enforcement and public safety.
